Touch Newsletter #218

Welcome to the Touch Newsletter #218. Banging out a last newsletter for the holidays… Final posting for the holidays will be over the coming weekend, before a break next week…

Here’s a review of what we’ve been up to in 2019: debut albums from Zachary Paul and Bana Haffar; Anthony Moore surfaces; monsters from Fennesz, Simon Scott and ELEH; book from Joséphine Michel and Mika Vainio; vinyl from Albania, Strafe F.R., Claire M Singer and UnicaZürn, digital releases from Charles Matthews, Daniel Menche and “Live in California”… All available physically and/or digitally from our Bandcamp site, which now replaces the TouchShop. And that’s just the releases – there were also numerous live events and other activities, which you can read about on our website. And there’s much to look forward to in 2020…

Ash International, in conjunction with Meakusma, released “The Memory Room”.

Celebrating its 10th year, here are The Tapeworm’s 2019 releases: Jay Glass Dubs; Davide Luciani; Moon RA; John Macedo; Swantje Lichtenstein and Jono Podmore; Aaron Turner; Middex; “XYZ – an ABC of The Tapeworm as mixed by Dale Cornish”. The Wormhole released albums by Armin Lorenz Gerold, Blood Music, Tears|Ov, Laura Agnusdei and Achim Mohné. The Bookworm published a fine paperback by Savage Pencil and Barbara Frost.

Below is an overview of our 2019 items still in-print. A Touch subscription is available to purchase, affording you a discount on future purchases.

ɡəˈrilə/
noun
noun: guerilla
a member of a small independent group taking part in irregular fighting, typically against larger regular forces.

Each audio edit will be posted for 14 days and then removed from the site, although the information about each guerrilla activity will be archived, but without the audio. There will be two postings per month with the first (also featuring Klara Lewis & Rainier Lericolais) on 1st August 2015, so please check in regularly to listen to the latest offering. We are well into the 3rd year and have just posted episode 106…
