December 1st 2018 – Guerrilla 81
My first attempt and first pass compilation of sounds for the project that became DEADMENCANTRUN, which ended up as a live performance at The Roundhouse with Mira Calix and Laura Moody. All sounds were recorded from the internet/Youtube generally late at night from Libya, Syria, Yemen and I set them up on the mac as floating pieces able to go anywhere, or stop and start at anytime. This is generally how I work at home everyday. There is no editing involved at this stage at all, as this is more of a performance than anything permanent. Mistakes occur and repetition is rife.
