atmospheres is a series of annual festivals situated at The Museum of Garden History. Curated by Jon Wozencroft, Chris Potts & Mike Harding, the first events took place during October 2007. Chris Watson’s workshop was followed by live performances from Storm [Chris Watson ¬ BJNilsen], Biosphere and Chris Watson. Further events took place at The Bedford Arms, London and The Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol.
In May 2008, Touch and the Museum of Garden History present a second season of performances and events exploring the sounds of the natural world. Live performances by Fennesz, Philip Jeck, Robert Hampson, Charles Matthews, Marcus Davidson & others, with tree listening by Alex Metcalf.
atmospheres [2007]
The Atmospheres Festival took place in London, from Monday October 22nd to Friday October 26th 2007.
Days 1 and 5 are hosted by The Museum of Garden History
Days 2, 3 and 4 are hosted by Touch for Touch 25 – the 25th anniversary of Touch [1981/2 – 2006/7]
There are various events over days 2, 3 & 4 of the festival in two different locations:

atmospheres 2 takes place at The Museum of Garden History in London, from May 8th to May 12th 2008, with an introductory talk on March 13th [Royal College of Art, Jay Mews, London SW1].
